I do a fair amount of portable generator repair. I use these units to check & or setup the generators for voltage and Hz. Should the magic smoke come out of them you are not out an arm and a leg.

Installation of the Digital Ammeter/Voltmeter (by AITIAO) in my RV’s electrical panel was a breeze. Now I can see instantaneously how much power my RV is consuming at any moment in time. That way I can check before I plug in something that might overload the breaker on the campground pedestal.The display is clear, and easy to read. It also makes a nice non-blinding night light.Don’t let the tiny size fool you. I installed this nifty little meter in my home driveway and was able to confirm it’s readings were identical to my whole-home energy monitoring system. This little accessory really works well.

During the recent power outage, I wanted to have more information on the output of the generator. The generator I have is very basic, has no meters. I have added an hour meter to track run time and wanted to have more information on the output. I think these meters will be a big help next time I need to power my house.

These are good for the price paid, however, they are not really accurate as a tester probe meter will be, voltage reads 2 volts low, and Hz reads 0.9 low, and the Amps are about 3.0 low, not much calibration was used in manufacturing, but for what I, needed was a quick reference check that's ok to monitor a 22k generator I, just remember to add to the readings so I, don't have to get out a test meter.

I installed 2 in my RV. 50 Amp service. Both show 2 volts less than what the actual voltage is. No big deal. Just add 2 volts what is displayed. What do you expect for a few bucks. Just saying
