I've been using them for a while. They only light up dimly over 32v and get very bright at 127v AC. They seem to be accurate when testing the amperage against amp clamps. I don't know what will happen if I put 230v AC to them. The similar DC meters I tried all blew up after rectifying the voltage to DC.

They work great for monitoring single phase power. I use them to monitor incoming voltage and current on the 25 horsepower rotary phase converter I built.

Installed on generator circuit inside house to monitor load as other reviewers have. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star product is the lack of wire. I think everyone would happily pay a couple dollars more for a better insulated wire that is a few feet long instead of 6 inches so we don't have to waste time extending wires. These all seem to be made the same way so maybe we're not using it as intended. Display is very easy to read in basement. Also, if they could make the housing the same dimensions as a GFCI outlet there would be a super easy off the shelf mounting plate option.

So far so good.2 gang deco plate needs to be enlarged about 1/8 inch wider.Length looks too long but just snapped in and holds fine. Will update when installed in garage and powered. Plate is flex poly not hard one. They broke when clamping in vice to dremel material away.

I have a good Klein digital clamp-on meter. One of the industry standards.This cheap chinese junk reads high or low amps by a factor of 4x at least.The voltage readout appears very accurateThat same wire was flowing ~10 amps and the chinese meter read ZERO.another time it was flowing 8 amps and the chinese meter read 11.nopehard pass

Bought a total of 6 so far. In the latest project on my Air Handler, came to the realization that the meters do not display by using a decimal point.Conclusion: The resolution is 1 Amp increments, and I don't read anything when the blower motor runs on the air handler. I expect to read at least 1 amp.On another side note, the power-up time is to be considered if you expect to capture in-rush current readings.

Using two of them (one on each hot wire) to keep an eye on my Bitcoin miners. They work good. I spent upwards of 30 minutes online researching other sellers on and off Amazon. These are the best.
