They have a thick plate and they rolls real smooth. Large bolt holes make it nice for connection a pully or hook to hold things .

Oh my God, that is overkill! I bought them to carry dust collection hose along the tool's path. So it does, but I could also hang the tool, the table and myself on them with no apparent difference. This is a really heavy duty stuff, although slides like a feather.
