I replaced brass spring loaded anti-backlash nuts on my X and Y axes with these. There are three different 8mm products here - 2mm pitch 2mm lead, 4mm lead, and 8mm lead. 2mm lead is one start, 4mm lead is 2 start, and 8mm lead is 4 start. You can count the starts by looking at the end of the screw. What I like about these is that they don't depend on the stiffness of a spring to hold the axis in place. Instead, the unit is effectively two nuts that can be adjusted such that both of the nuts solidly engage the screw at the same time in opposite directions. The result is more solid operation on a light duty machine with less axis movement slop. Especially better for climb milling, because the bit cannot pull the axes past where the lead screws are trying to put it.

These fit looser than another brand I bought elsewhere. It has actual lash (play) in it if you push up and down. It doesn't seem like the set screw reaches. I bought the 8mm lead which has 4 start. The fit may vary based on where the lead screws are from. The ones I have on another machine did not have the screw and nut but have zero play. They were very tight at first and loosened up after a few passes.

This product met expectations. It fit the lead screws well and I was able to successfully remove all backlash in the system while still allowing for easy rotation. It was easily adjustable with the screw

I had an 8mm 4 start Lead Screw whose brass Lead nut had way too much backlash. I ordered the Anti-Backlash Nut with 8mm Lead. Worked perfectly, just as expected !Tkx

Lead and pitch as described and I found that these plastic nuts work better than the brass versions as they seem to have less backlash and operate smoother.

Diese Muttern sind eine klare Verbesserung gegenüber den Standardvarianten. Das Gewindespiel ist praktisch nicht mehr vorhanden, was die Präzision deutlich erhöht. Bei der Montage sollte man allerdings beachten, dass sie etwas mehr Platz benötigen als normale Muttern.Die Verarbeitung macht einen soliden Eindruck, das Material wirkt robust. Wer Wert auf präzisere Bewegungen legt, bekommt hier eine gute Lösung.
