These nuts are well-machined and went on the lead screws perfectly. I didn't realize, however, that I was getting four when I only needed two. No problem...the price was right! If anyone needs just two, let me know: I know where you can get them. In all seriousness, whether you believe these are a "must-have" or you're one of the ones who say they are a waste of time, these are well-made and worth the money.

They are not for Ender-3 Printers. But if you grind down one side and install them with 3mm screws and nuts. The extruder side has to be ground down to clear it. The other side doesn't need it.They will work.I bought these because they looked like they should work on my ender-3.I also installed them the wrong way.Once I switch them They will work just like all the others.By what I have seen latley online they go with the spring and lock on the bottom side.

I'm surprised how good these are for only ~$2 ea. The machining is about what you'd expect but better than a lot of cheap brass nuts. 2 of 4 were noticeably worse but all are usable with lubrication. Many people seem to install these wrong. The spring should be compressed when threading the lead screw in, with no travel in the Z direction. There will be a small, unavoidable amount of backlash when lifting the gantry but shouldn't be a problem in normal operation.** To anyone buying for Creality printers:These will NOT work out of the box but modifying isn't difficult. Attached pics are an Ender-3 Pro. To fit like the stock nut, just trim 2 sides with a dremel, grinder, etc. It's soft brass and doesn't require much effort. You only need to do one but I needed it compatible with other mods. This doesn't affect functionality.Hole spacing is narrower than stock and is NOT threaded. They are just far enough apart for the stock screws to pass and stick out enough to secure two M3 nuts (not included). However, the nuts will likely prevent the spring from sitting flush which may affect functionality. I decided to grind down a corner of each to free up enough room for it to slip past. This also prevents them from spinning which allows the screws to easily be adjusted. It works great but is a pain to take on and off. A better solution would be to tap the holes for a slightly wider diameter screw. Also, keep in mind the narrower spacing doesn't allow it to float as freely, which could cause binding with severe alignment issues.

I increased the z height and had bed drop constantly. These fit my z rods perfect and I had no more issues!

Works great, no more backlash or wobble. I got 3 of the right ones and 1 wrong one. Seller responded immediately and send me a replacement.

I am normally a big fan of BTT, but some of these items are not part of that adulation. As mentioned in the Subject, the multi-start thread in the flanged parts are ALL too tight to thread on by hand. The smaller threaded parts are a PERFECT fit. Shame BTT!I tried several lead-screw rods, but all the same. Now I am stuck with a disassembled printer and have to order from another vendor, waiting for a week at least for them to get here.
