Tips: If DIY engraving machine, you need to modify the slider by yourself, the default slider does not use linear bearings, so the accuracy is generally unstable.

Two caviats: Although the specs say 5 to 12 volts, it seems to run happiest at 5 vdc. At 12 vdc, the motor gets scary hot. Motor max rpm is not specified, but I found running it over 1500 rpm it tends to lose pulse counts and "drift" one direction or the other. Still, at 1000 rpm it should be plenty fast accurate enough for most projects, and I think it will do just fine for mine.
