I needed a small combination lock so when I go to the gym, I won’t have to worry about a key. I also wanted one that was small so let’s wait when I hook it onto my gym bag. This one works great. I won’t lie. It took me a few times to reset the lock combination but once I had it down, it was quick and easy to change the second one also. Just as a quick tip be sure you push the reset button down and make sure it pushes through to the other side before you try to reset the lock then it was super easy. I like having this at the gym for my locker, The best is the price which was in my budget & very reasonable. They are so nice to have two of these. The other one I will be using for my suitcase.

It takes quite a bit of pressure to press down on the unlock button on these. That could actually work as a safety feature though. Even if you accidentally left the code on unlock, someone would have quite a time opening this lock, which would make it difficult to open especially if it were on something that you are carrying or wearing. I'd say in that way they work very well as a deterent. The quality of the locks feel solid and are metal. Maybe not the easiest lock to use but once you get it, it's no problem. It's nice having two colors if you want to keep things more organized that way. I'd say overall they are solid locks for the price.

These combination padlocks are perfect for securing all my luggage and outdoor gear! I love the set of two (black and white), so I can use one for my suitcase and the other for my backpack or tent. The 3-digit combination is easy to set and provides a solid level of security without being too complicated. The locks themselves are sturdy, and the cables are flexible yet strong, making them versatile for various bags and cases. I’ve used them for both travel and camping trips, and they’ve held up well in different conditions. Definitely a must-have for anyone looking to keep their belongings safe while on the go!

As one who has flown at least 1.5 million miles, I have used many different locks for my siutcases and laptop bags.Let’s start with the prosThe locks feel pretty sturdy. Not five star sturdy, but a solid 4.The cables are relatively thick. They do fit though the lock ring on my laptop bag zipper. There’s a decal that tells you how to get support. I think a piece of paper would have been fine.ConsIt is very, very hard top push the button and set the combination at the same time. While you don’t want to accidentally change the combination, the amount of pressure required to hold the button down is excessive. At least that doesn’t have to be done much. It’s hard to turn just one number at a time. Start with the top number.Especially on the black lock, it can be challenging to line up the numbers. The center line is effectively invisible in normal lighting. The instructions are too small to read without magnification. That always costs a vendor a star. The cables are not as easy to open as a standard shackle.I will keep them and use them with confidence, but they are among the hardest to use of the various locks I have had through the years. As for a recommendation, neutral. Read the reviews and decide for yourself based upon the information and your needs. I have only had one other cable travel lock and it was really cheap. If you don’t need a cable on the lock, then I’d say pass on this, but if you do, then this is ok. It does it’s job well, just not as easily as other locks I have used for travel.

I had ordered these locks to use as a deterrent for locking my laptop case or camera bags when I’m out and about. I found the housing of the lock to be solid, but the cables are thin enough to be cut easily with quality wire or cable cutters. The locks do work well enough, but I found the dials a little difficult to turn at times. Keep in mind, if you’re away from your locked item for any length of time and people of question are there, protection will be minimal. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for.

After losing luggage last trip, we decided to snag a few locks to deter anyone from getting in. These locks are easy to use and look clean and simple. They should hold up ok, they seem solid and tough for the smaller size that they are.

This product just has too many flaws to make it worth purchasing. The dials are the biggest issue. Because of how close together they are, it is nearly impossible to individually move them. I have very small fingers and very short fingernails and even I had trouble dialing to a specific combination. Additionally, the dials do not "click" into place at each number, so it is hard to get them lined up correctly. This appears to have caused my attempt to reset the combination on the second lock to not be precise and now I cannot figure out what "combination" it thinks is correct. I've resorted to one-by-one dialing from 000 to 999 to see if I can get it to accept some combination. This is exacerbated by how physically awkward it is to reset the combination. Pushing and holding down the button while you attempt to reset the dials to a new combination is painful. Another surprise was just the overall operation. In most locks like this I have seen, the button is the "release" once you have the correct combination dialed. That's not the case with this lock. Instead once you have the correct combination you slide the end of the cable to unlock it. Lastly, since this is not TSA approved, you cannot use it for checked luggage since airport security cannot unlock it. Given all of these issues, I cannot recommend this for any purpose.
