I like there mounting design. The counter locks in place and their taller and more secure on my big Seeker and cal star tuna rods. I bought them to meter how much line I send out when fishing with lures that need to set set back 700- 800'. I've used them 1 season and didn't have any issues. If they start making them reading in feet I would buy a few more.

So far it's working great. The only thing that really flimsy is the counter reset button. Could be better.

First one had missing parts. (See pic 1) They sent a replacement and new one broke. Fixed it with the other I had not returned yet and it broke AGAIN. Same issue on both. (See pic 2) The same peg came out and I cannot get the to screw back in. I should have known for the price. I would’ve spent a little more and got something of better quality.

I typically run backer for half of the line I load onto the spool. This way I change out all of the line on my reels every year and save money doing it. This is a cheap investment to improve your success at fishing!!

Just need to pay attention to the line going around the wheel but works good even on heavier line have 80 pounds braid going through no issues
