I bought these new blades for the Portland 69293 Chipper Shredder. The fit is perfect and the performance is great. They've put in a full day of chipping branches now and still have some edge left on the first side (haven't had to turn them over yet). I question my decision to go with such a little chipper, but that's another review. The blades are good.

Have not used them yet, but they are same size (AND SHARP!) as my old ones; and I can tell you they fit my shredder/chipper (Harbor Freight/Chicago Electric 2.5HP Model 66910. Apparently these blades fit many other types as well.

Getting these installed was a bit tricky since the old screws were pretty tight and trying to turn them with a hex wrench also spins the cutting assembly. Also, when reinstalling, tighten each screw a little at a time, alternating between the two to get the fit as balanced as possible. Once installed, it was an excellent difference in cutting! I was super frustrated the last time I used my sunjoe as it kept jamming. This time is was back to tearing through branches like it was brand new.One tip if your blades are just dull, they are double sided so you might be fine to just flip them around before replacing (cutting only uses one side). One of my old ones actually cracked and had a chunck missing so replacing was needed, but you should be able to wear down both sides and double their life.

Decent replacement blades but do dull quickly. Seem to take a new edge well with a file or grinder.

Edit: Changed to 1 star. Blades broke after only a few uses. I’m always careful not to overload my wood chipper since it is my personal one. Needs to be a stronger steel or something. Really frustrating to have my wood chipping cut short until new blades can arrive. I purchased the Sun Joe blades instead. See pics I added of the broken blade.These are a direct replacement for the Portland electric chipper from Harbor Freight. They installed with no modification necessary. Make sure not to over tighten the bolts. They just need to be snug and then a little bit more. Any wood chipper is going to need the blades replaced eventually so make sure the bolts are not so tight that you can’t remove them next time you need to replace the blades again. If you have the Harbor Freight wood chipper don’t hesitate to buy!

These were purchased as spare blades for my garden shredder , I like to have spares in the event that something dulls the bladesMy last shredder manufacturer went out of business before I wore out the last set of blades.
