This cord was amazing when it came to putting up my Christmas village this year. In the past it has been a jumble of extension cords. What a mess and fire hazard and not to mention time consuming. These cords reduced building display time, made it safer, and less cord confusion. I have over 50 village pieces and can't rave enough about these!

I just started using this to hang three Christmas decorations in three adjacent windows across a ten foot span. Because of the inline outlets, only one extension cord was needed.It it is UL listed, and is for indoor use only.The distance between the male plug and the inline switch is 3 feet. The switch is not illuminated, so it will not distract from your decorations.The distance between the inline switch and the first outlet is 6 feet.The three outlets are about 3 feet apart.The last outlet has a hole at the end for mounting or hanging.Each outlet can accept three plugs; two on one side, and one on the opposite side. The side that has two receptacles is a little too tight for some plugs.Each outlet has a cover for the side that has two receptacles, it will not twist around for use on the single receptacle side.The cord is 18/2. The plug and outlets are polarized.The plug has a 125 volt 5 amp fuse, and it comes with one spare fuse inside a tiny compartment.I measured only one cord, other cords may vary.

These were perfect for my somewhat unusual usage.I have a seasonal campsite with a 10x20' canopy that I use rope-lights on during the summer. It seems every year I'm replacing the lights, even though they don't move all year, a section always goes out.Next summer, I plan to run 2 of these down the length of the canopy, using and some dimmable LED bulbs. The spacing on the outlets is just about perfect for giving me evenly spaced lighting.Over the winter, these same cords are in use running down the middle of my trailer providing power to a number of ultra-sonic mouse deterrents to keep the rodents out. All of my outlets are up high, and in places that aren't ideal for these deterrents, so these cords allow me to place them evenly throughout the trailer.I love products with multiple uses.

I bought two of these to hook up several ceramic Christmas trees. I have about 6 trees on each line. I've only been using them every once in a while in the evening and already on on/off switch has quit working
