I've only used it two times since I've gotten it. But it does function as stated. It's a little wobbly and kind of difficult to get it perfectly fine-tuned where you want it and the door to be. There is just a lot of sloth and the bolts and clamps that makes it a little shaky when you're trying to do the little fine tuning before mounting. I think it's fine for do it yourself guys or someone who occasionally installs a door and doesn't want to spend a lot of money on a professional set. But I don't think this would be a kit for the pros who use them day in and day out it would be too frustrating and time-consuming for them. But I'm rating this for what it is. It's a cheaper option to give the capability to someone who doesn't want to spend a fortune on a high-end version of this setup. I'm not one of those people who rate something and because it wasn't flawless that I'm going to burn them with one star, I don't believe this set tries to masquerade as a pro level tool. I do believe it delivers for the most part what it promises and about what you would expect in this price range.

At first when I opened the product I thought that it was very sturdy. However upon using it, a literal door that weighs not that much, yes it was solid wood, but the device literally bent from the weight of the door. Like I said it was a very standard solid door but it should not have caused this item to have this wheel sent. So that made it difficult to keep it true to the form of the door frame. I am supposed to help you lineup everything properly but I ended up having to get a friend to come over and hold it so it would keep the door straight. So I would say if you have Veri spin or landlord special doors, or interior, this might work, but if you are doing a heavy outdoor door it is not worth it.

Made well and works, but a really heavy exterior door will cause it to sag a bit. It does make door movement and installation easier. Good value for the money but I wish it was made of heavier material.

I used this for plywood board, and it made it easier for me for someone to hold the boards vertically. "Heavy" Seems to a be a relatively term that's thrown around here as it worked well for the boards I needed it to which was some 1/2" ply and the like.

This door installer makes it so much easier to install a bulky door on your own and with precision. It is really a novel idea and makes the job go smoothly. Easy to make adjustments as well.

The first time we used it it bent. If you get it, don’t try it on any doors that are solid or heavy.

The wheels are supposed to help with movement, but they barely roll. It takes way too much effort to maneuver this tool.
