Worth it! If you are alone it definitely helps. One hand can vary the sheet. Love it

Got these for my husband and son to finish the basement. They had to carry lots of sheetrock. They didn't think they worked but they loved them. Said they really made a difference in carrying the sheets.

This is one of those items that you didn't know you needed, until you used it and wondered how you ever lived without it, so congratulations if you found them.I've probably carried a million sheets of plywood, siding, durarock and sheetrock in my life, gripping with one hand and tucked under my other arm like a wing and you can only go so far before your grips gives up and you have to set it down. This handle clamp is very basic in concept and design, but literally works like a nothing else. You just open the jaw enough to go over whatever sheet material you're wanting to carry and when you lift up, the clamping action grabs the sheet and holds by leverage and the weight you're lifting. To release, you just take the weight off of the handle, open the jaw clamp and it comes right off of the sheet. Nothing to lock or clip, clamp, adjust, etc.It says it needs to be adjusted for different thicknesses, but I tested it on siding that's 1/4†on sheetrock that's 1/2†and on subfloor that's 3/4†& 1-1/8†and it grabbed all of them just the same. The handle clamps are solid and made from heavy-duty material, so I can see them lasting for the long-haul (pun intended).I have used one of the panel lift handles that go under the sheet, but you still have to bend over to lift the sheet and if it's sitting right on the floor, the sheet needs to be lifted or kept on blocks and even then it's a pain to get just one sheet at a time. This is a far superior method and you don't have to bend over times however many sheets you need to carry. You could also use it when you want to slide sheets out of the bed of your truck to grab ahold and pull the sheet rather than trying to pull it out basically with your fingertips. The price per each for these is a great deal and less than others I saw online and about the same money as the old plastic panel lifts, so they are an excellent value. The best part though is that they work as advertised and can save your back from not getting in awkward positions when trying to lift.Shipped and received fast.
