The needles are small, sharp, and sturdy. The "hook" is made of plastic rather than wire but seems durable. I pulled on the loops with quite a lot of force to see if I could separate them from the needles, and they did not break or pull loose. I think this is a handy little tool for pulling snags of thread back through fabric for finished cloth products, but I also think they will be great to keep next to the sewing maching in the event that you break a thread or get an unwanted loop in your seam. It could be a handy little threader for various craft projects, as well. Also, I have a feeling that these tools are the kind of nifty thing that will end up being super useful in some unpredictable way, and you will be glad you have them when that moment comes.

These are much thinner than I was envisioning. They are suitable for pulling snagged threads through tight woven fabric. Metal is similar to a needle; loops at the ends compress to avoid deforming fabric. If you have an end or big loop of thread on the wrong side of fabric, these puller tools can help fix it.

Your satisfaction will depend upon what you’re using it for. For anything with a tighter weave such as quilting cotton, this will make a big hole in your fabric. The diameter of the theft is bigger than that of a cross stitch needle.
