I need this to insulate copper tubing, but it is really too thin. Will try to find foam rubber at hardware store.

These pipe insulation foam tubes are good in quality by the material used itself.But they don't have any glue nor any adhesive on them.They are more like raw materials of foams.I happen to have extra 3M tapes in my basement.I also added duck tapes to wrap them together.They turned out fine and useful to me.I will see how effective they are in next a few months before I come back to update with more details.

I've uploaded a photo of what was received so that you can judge firsthand just how badly this product is misrepresented in the listing description and photos. Instead of the standard 3/8" to 1/2" thick foam pipe insulation tubes sold in big box stores (and as shown in the listing photos), I received four flat, misshapen narrow strips of 3/16" thick foam. This thin type of foam is similar to the stuff you just throw away when it's used in packaging of other products.Because these are so thin, they have no rigidity to form a tube, hold their shape, or stay around a pipe without lots of duct tape. Plus, they have close to zero R-value. They arrived flat, rolled around a hollow cardboard spool, similar to how duct tape is packaged, with a similar roll diameter. This is a useless product that should not be made or sold at any price, especially since most hardware stores sell a brand name 4-pack of 3-foot tubes with double the thickness (which actually do work fairly well) for much less money.

This is super poor quality foam pipe wrapping, way overpriced and smaller than what we thought. We’ve received better quality foam as packaging protection! Typical rip off product from China. Should have just bought the black foam pipe wrap at Canadian Tire!

Not sure what kind of pipe this would insulate, a McDonalds straw size maybe
