So these looked really nice and well made for the price. I installed these on my gen 2 ram 2500 pickup. I noticed the end was sticking out from the actuator but hoped there was enough handle movement to get it to open the doors, nope. I wanted to get my doors working and noticed that if you don't snap the end of the sheath in the clip it has the effect of shortening the cable. So yeah I zip tied the cable against the end of the clip by the outer door handle and it works perfectly. However getting the passenger handle back in the door due to the doors poor design is nearly impossible but where there's a will there's a way. Both doors work perfectly.

Bought this for a 1999 Ram 1500 club cab and thought it would work but there was too much slack so I went with a different option that was cheaper and worked immediately.

The cables look like OEM, but are too long had to modify to make them work.

After reading the reviews on this product, it seams that these are kinda a hit or miss. Mine were a miss. Either the cable needs to be about 1/4 shorter, or the plastic housing needs to be longer. The picture has the broken original on the bottom. They need to be redesigned. I guess you could crimp on a spiltshot fishing sinker if you needed too. That may work. I returned it, and ordered from a cheaper competitor. Hallelujah, theirs worked. This one is well built though, and I hope they fix there tolerance issue.
