Easy to install (replaced heavily corroded OEM metal bushings), word of advice, removal of doors with OEM bushings may be difficult (had to use my farm jack to pry two of the doors up), and it should be an easy job but the front doors are heavy/bulky so have a second person handy to catch (esp if you have to jack the doors up).Replacement bushings (this product) slipped in without issue, a fine grit sand paper on the pins (not the threads) may benefit you as well (prior to screwing on the metal guides. I didn't use blue thread locker on them but I might go back and do that if they start to loosen)... do not throw out the OEM T50 nuts (I have holes in the trunk tray designed to hold them for when the doors are off, ya never know if you'll need them down the road).Love the look, should help make removing doors easier.

I was hoping the screw adapters would be size as the door pins. The tool for removing factory sleeve does not work when the original is plastic and glued in. The only thing I could use was the stainless end guide adapters. It was good quality but is not very useful. I kept the kit because when my bushings are trashed I may try again to use the to replace my current OEM bushings

Replaced or digital and rusted door hinge bushings. Easy to install just used the step by step instructions hidden in the item pictures. Had to chisel away the old bushing a little at the top and spray a rust solvent. Luckily I had a little extra CLP to loosen up the rust then hammered the tool at the bottom until the pop out. Doors work great not. Kids able to easily open and close

I like the ease of installation of these guides. The extension pins work great and look good as well. The bushings did move with the hinge pin when lifting the doors so I added a thin layer of rtv silicone to the outer surface of bushing to seal in hinge hole. Now my doors lift off easily!

Brushings do not fit. They are too big. The threading on the door alignment pins do not seem to fit the thread on the door. The brushings are very brittle and break easily as you have to force them into place. Not easy when parts don’t fit in diameter. They also barely fit on the door pins, so when you think “maybe I can put the pin guides in the door, then put the brushing on the door guide, and force it into place†it just ruins the brushing.

When my Jeep doors started to get hard to open and shut, i watched some videos to learn what the problem is (rust) and how to fix it (replace the metal bushings with plastic ones). One video showed the tool that I found on Amazon. The tool will do what you need - IF you know what you're doing and how. This product does not come with instructions, so plan on watching a how to video or two before diving in to this immortal DIY project.

So I bought these as every door was hard to open/shut on my jeep, if you have a jeep that is older than 5 years you understand, unless your doors are used/taken off a lot. But I have beat/bashed and tried just about everything to get the original bushings out, they are in there. I have put kroyl and wd40 on them for days hoping to get it to break loose, but nothing seems to work. But either way, I will continue to work on it and maybe one day will succeed, its a fun experience for now.

Great replacement for worn bushings on Jeep jk hinges .Plastic is very weak , so be careful when installing they are a fit.Just my opinion , but adding some grease or fluid film to the bushings will add years to the hinges

Removing the old (corroded) hinge liners was the hardest part of this swap. Installing the new plastic liners is drop dead easy... but a total waste of time. The hinge pins are so tight with these liners, you'd have tp be Superman to get the doors off. Mine were hard to get off before, and now they're impossible to remove without sticking a 2x4 under them and levering them off. And it's not completely unexpected - think about it - you're replacing METAL hinge liners with PLASTIC, so OF COURSE the plastic has to be thicker... I would return these, but the bullet ends for the hinges are super cool, so I will keep the kit - but the liners are going straight into the garbage.

Had to beat the crap out of the old sleeves but the new ones worked well and door close much better with the new bushings and new hinges.
