I needed some durable trailer lights for my pontoon trailer. The original design for the lights stuck out too far and got hit often. So I cut those off and welded on these light boxes. These tucked under the frame nicely and are very bright. I gave a 4/5 star for ease of installation only because you'll probably have to weld these in place, and not every do-it-yourselfer has a TIG welder. The box metal is fairly thin, so you're probably not going to stick weld these. Maybe wire feed but it would be tricky. Depending on your trailer, you might be able to drill through your frame and bolt them in place. It's not a 10 minute install but really nice when you're finished. I'm buying another pair for my other trailer.

I liked the fact that these lights work great. I did not like that they did not come with the hardware already installed. You have to take the lights out, drill your holes, you really need to seal it up before mounting onto your trailer, then install onto your trailer, reassmble the light assembly, connect all the wiring, & then test the system. Mine turned out to be outstanding, just quite a few steps to get through before you can call it good.

I replaced the halogen square lights with these. Instantly makes the trailer look newer and higher quality. Great value for the price.

Good mounts. The LED lights have a flash of their own. More like an emergency vehicle than flashing trailer lights. VERY attention getting, which is what you want in the driver behind you.IF YOU RETROFIT an older vehicle, in my case a 2003 Ram pickup, they will cause a 'lamp-out' code. The computer needs to be set to LED lights.

Really nice lights. You can bolt them on or weld them on everything you need. Is there to hook up your lights very well-made keeps all the wires out the weather.

Kinda flimsy, thin metal and rust easily, lights fit fine.

welded them on after stepping on it once and pulled the bolt through it. havent had any problems at all with the lights. since welding them on I've had zero issues with stepping on them or hitting them while loading the trailer.
