Works just fine. I used it for about a year & a half & it was still in good condition (only stopped using because I didn't need it). It held a good amount of my paper in the rings. The little side pockets are a little thin or fragile but can still hold a few papers.

Nice big, bright colored notebook with 3 large D rings, and a clear plastic exterior where one could slip in a cover page for the notebook. I have clear coin pocket pages in mine and not paper so there may be a difference but when I move the pages from the left to right side of the notebook, they always hang up on the D rings at the point of opening. Kind of like the rings are slightly misaligned so page turning isn’t a smooth action. It also has only a short single pocket on the interior of the cover and I would prefer two deeper pockets. Nonetheless, I would probably buy again because the other features are great.

After retiring I started to copy all my Great-Grandmother's and Grandmother's vintage recipes for my book. I started getting bakers something are doing with their recipes. I bought a package of 500 clear plastic double siding holders to put my recipes in the fantastically made 3 ring binder. It also has three openings to put them in place. I also purchased separate tab separator's to keep the recipes apart. I have over 600 pages in this binder, when I want a special recipe I go to my binder and go to the section for the tab and remove the recipe. When done I put it back into that tab section. I have 15 different tab folders that keeps the recipes in place and protected when I use one at my baking station. Easy to keep clean for long time. Makes recipe's easy to find and the binder is heavy duty and made fantastic. Will also hold plastic photo separator's . My friends bought what I did and love they now have safe protected recipes or their photo's.

This is very cheaply made. So if you have a child like I have and they have to get their notebook in and out of their book bag several times a day, go with something more heavy duty.

Item arrived earlier than expected but the front pocket was crumpled and torn. I have to pay for shipping to return the item with a promise of a reimbursement of “up to†a certain amount. A lot of trouble just for a binder.
