I got this to fit on top of my trailer jack. The trailer has semi round torsion axles. This will prevent any worry about the axle slipping off the jack.

If you use a bottle jack to lift from a round vehicle axle, you need this saddle! I ordered this to use on our 14K pound camper to prevent damaging the axle tube using the bottle jack alone. The dimensions shown on the description are spot on. The quality and craftmanship look great and is exactly as pictured. This is cheap insurance compared to having to replace a bent axle.

If your bottle jack has a 1 7/8†shaft this axle cradle will work great, hold securely on you jack and add a lot of safety when raising round axles. It is very well made of heavy steel with a high quality tough finish. Just make sure it fits your jack shaft tightly and it will be very safe
