I am new to stained glass and so far just make sun catchers. I wanted to try some hobby came and ordered some but ordered the wrong thing. Lol I tried again and got this. It was SOOO easy to stretch and use in my piece. It looks great! I will probably use this on all my pieces. Great finishing touch.

The spooled hobby came is so much easier to work with, less waste and incredibly lower in price. Will always buy it in this form from now on!!!!!!

I use a lot of hobby came in my work, so I decided instead of buying short lengths I would buy a spool. I do love how it is wrapped on the spool.I do feel that this needs stretching a little more than the shorter lengths

I like the flexibility but it is not sturdy. For stability you'll need to wrap the piece in copper foil first then use along edges for a finished look. It will work best with a temperature controlled iron as the lead melts quickly.

I’m not sure if I got a defective roll or something, but I honestly can’t use this at all. I got it to frame small stained glass pieces, but the metal is way way too bendy, and does not at all hold its shape, so I can literally pull it away from the edge of the piece after it’s soldered on. And this is after stretching it. All other hobby came I’ve purchased in smaller amounts has been much sturdier and exactly what I needed. But now I have 80’ of a too-pliable hobby came that I can’t use for anything.

This is awesome. One complete roll. I have used 1/2 of the roll. It’s so awesome. Easy to use. Solders great. Patinas well. I use it for my sun catchers.

This does the trick to make my stained glass look neater on the edges but it does not cover the copper foil.
