I put these on my boys at the range, guns are loud. We always put in the squeeze orange foam plugs , before we use anyone’s ear muffs.New shooters don’t hardly “flinch†when they can’t hear the blast leaving the muzzle. These come highly recommended. Well made

They do work well to reduce noise for a single or double shooter range scenario, but not for multiple firearms going off at once. You will want extra foam ear plugs before you put these on if there will be multiple (especially higher caliber) firearms going off in close range. They fit comfortably enough and they're not too expensive, so good ear pro for a first timer plinking .22-9mm.
