These are a decent set of wood carving tools. It won’t last forever since it’s not carbide. But it works fairly well.

These worked fairly well but the vibration is so bad on every one of them, I couldn’t use them. My hands are numb from less than 5 minutes of use.

I am always careful when using unusual bits on an angle grinder - the speeds and torque involved mean that things can go very bad in a hurry. So - please be very careful with these bits and watch for kickback!I tested all 3 bits on a very old, very rough piece of 2x4. I expected that these would not provide a fine finish and was not surprised.First up, the rotary rasp - it worked fine and removed wood fairly well and left a ridged finish. All of these bits are difficult to control and are for rough work. There is no way that I would use any of these to try and get close to a line, but if you just need to get rid of a high spot or roughly carve out a shape, they work.Next up was the ball - it worked well and chewed through a very hard old knot very easily. I did notice that it burned the wood more than the rotary one. I also really felt it following the grain of the wood. Finally the grooving tool - this is the scariest of the bunch! It has only 3 cutting edges and is very prone to catching - make sure that your workpiece is held down securely, that you have the aux handle on your grinder, and that you are paying attention and planning for the inevitable kickback. This leaves a pretty ragged grove and you can see in the pictures a lot of tearout of the wood.An angle grinder is very limited in how you can approach the wood and the body of the grinder often forces you to cut on an angle - you may be able to see in my last picture attached that the groove is tilted since the grinder body would not allow the bit to be rotating perpendicular to the wood.

A bit on the pricy side but they work great at boring through wood! They attached securely to my angle grinder and ate through the wood like a hot knife through butter. So satisfying woth how fast and easy it goes! I tested it on maple which is considered a hard wood. They were all still in good shape when I was trough. They performed well and I'm very happy with them. They get a solid 4 stars!

Will be used on tree trunk project,Cannot comment on cylindrical grinder.Round ball has all the right things to grind a spruce 2x4 to shredsAnd same goes for the grooving attachment.I can only imagine what the third one would be like!Fit well in the small grinder and easy to handle,The guard would worth putting on for the time when you rest it.

This 3-piece wood grinding set is a fairly decent set for shaping and sculpting wood with an angle grinder. The attachments fit any standard 5/8-inch #11 thread grinders securely and cut through wood reasonably well, making them good for more detailed work. They work especially well on softer woods but can handle hardwoods like maple too, just takes longer and you have to be not as aggressive. However, vibration and wobble issues happen often, which makes it difficult to use for extended times. A bit pricey, for the balance issues I had and as well as other seem to be seeing. It is not that difficult to balance these at the factory and would only add $1 to the overall price. That is the biggest downside I see.3.5-Stars
