The light is a game changer! Makes it so easy to see dark threads on dark fabric. Nice, sharp, very portable with the plastic cover. Batteries can be changed easily. Also, you get THREE for the price! Good deal in my book!

The light is only bright for a few minutes then the light diminishes. I usually turn it off and back on. I can see the seam better. But wish the light stayed brighter longer. At the price its not bad.

I like the same ripper I like the size and I like the handle but as far as the light goes, it does absolutely nothing to help

Two of the seam rippers light up. One does not. It is still useful as a seam ripper though.
