This is exactly what I was looking for - specifically with the scant 1/4 inch seam - however it arrived with two stickers on the back partially covering the guide holes. These stickers are going to leave a terrible residue on the guide - there had to be a better way to package this. :(

I have waisted so much money trying to find the correct measuring tool that had the 1/8†and 1/4†and 3/8†on it. This tool is the best I ever used. It helped me mark the measurements on my sewing plate quickly and accurately,I recommend every sewer have one of these.

Is not accurate to measure scant 1/4 inch. If you are using for other measurements it is. I quilt and so needed something to help me with the scant. If you do a test with three squares you will find that this ruler takes two widths of the thread as opposed to one which is the accurate scant measurement. Your blocks will come out too large. Too bad. Great idea. Bad execution.

Love this! Have only used it with my Featherweight so far, but it will also make sewing on some of my other vintage machines easier too. It’s simple to use and will work with my slant needle machines, and the ones that have a needle position left of center (like some of the old Whites).I like that it has an option for a scant 1/4â€.
