I've seen several reviews knocking these for their size and one that was upset for being unable to close it. This comes with a cap that fits over the blade and arrives affixed to the handle. I keep it on my dresser in the jewelry box and find it's perfect to open the sewn shut pockets on new suits and sport coats. It doesn't get a lot of use since I don't buy a new suit every day, but it's perfect when I do.

Good quality, but I guess I didn't pay attention to the fact that this is a miniature size seem ripper. It can be used for a few small stitches, but if you're doing a larger project or have heavier thread, it wouldn't hold up.
