I have used the same 2 thick handled stitch rippers from Hobby Lobby for many years and 2 days ago while taking a slipcover apart to use as a pattern for a new one I somehow snapped one of them right in 2. Couldn’t find the other one and tried using the tiny one that came with my sewing machine but I got nowhere and found them impossibly flimsy so ordered these, they came quickly and work perfectly, sharp enough to zip thru long seams of zig zag finish stitching then the seams themselves with little effort. I love that it’s a set of 3 because I usually keep one upstairs and another in my sewing room and now I even have a spare. The handle is easy to hold and has a “grip†to it which is great if you are working on dismantling seam after seam like I do. I would order these again in a heartbeat.

So much more comfortable to use than the seam rippers I grew up with! The colors are pleasing and make it easy to spot on my work table. Great quality, very durable, and makes removing stitches a breeze!

Not for heavy duty deconstruction. While these are very comfortable to use, and in all other ways these are perfect, while I was deconstructing a pair of jeans to make a handbag, the metal piece pushed all the way into the handle. If you are just going to use this for ripping out single rows of stitching, these are great! I would still buy them again, great value!

Thin point to get underneath stitches and very sharp to cut them and best part you can use the end to rub all those loose stitch threads right out. Nothen in description says you can but theywork. I have a old one that I bought just for that feature but after years of use it is dulled so went on the hunt for a new sharp one and took a chance on this and very happy I did. Very comfortable to hold in hand. These work as well as a name brand that cost $10.00 just for one.

I had been using a small seam ripper that came with my sewing machine and that was getting old.These fit in my hand nicely and since they came 3 in a pack I have one for home and one for my travel case when I go to my quilting group. As far as the cutting ability, it’s about the same as the little one I was using. It’s not super sharp but it gets the job done!All in all I’m happy with my purchase

I love the handle because it allows you to get such a better grip than those thin little things. That makes it less taxing on the hand. I had to rip the seams on over 10 pairs of pajama bottoms to replace the elastic for my daughter. The pants were still good but the elastic was stretched out. These made it so much easier than the thin handled ones which are so prevalent. With three of them in the package, they will last a long time. The only one I have opened so far still has much life in it. So they aren't a one-use and throw away. The colors are vibrant which makes them easy to find in my sewing drawer. I highly recommend
