Good size for my hand, my fingers are long and most of these are too short for comfort for me. The case is well fitted so it stays protected when not in use.

This ripper fits my hand beautifully. When I grip it, the butt if the grip rests against the base of my thumb allowing my fingers to adjust the angle of the blade and the pressure the red ball brings to the seam. So my palm is pushing it allowing me finer control of the rippping. Shorter seam rippers make me use my fingers to hold and control the blade frustrating me.Also, I just like the look and feel of it. It is very sharp

Savina is a beautiful seam ripper that is extremely well-made. It has a comfortable wooden handle & very sharp seam ripper. Great value for your money. Wish I found this long time ago. Performance is like no other. Perfect color. Very pleased with purchase.

The only part of this set I have used so far is the seam ripper. The tip is pointed enough to single out the thread you want to pick. It works really well on short, tight stitches without damaging the fabric. While most other reviewers liked the overall length, I found the long, slender handle to be cumbersome. I like to hold the tool closer to the tip for precision, and the wooden handle just didn't sit right in my hand. I will keep the set and use the seam roller and stiletto, but look for a shorter ripper with a more ergonomic handle.

Love this seam ripper! It is nice and sharp. Love the vintage look and it is big enough to not get lost.

As a novice teaching myself to sew household items like outdoor cushions and boat canvas, I need a good seam ripper. I make a lot of mistakes. This one is very nice. It is longer than the cheap ones and more comfortable to hold. It is easier to find. And it goes through even tough threads.

The wood handles on this seam ripper is long enough for a full handgrip, plus they are not bulky, so they are easy and comfortable to manipulate. The combination is a huge improvement over the crappy little plastic handles on most seam rippers. They also come with a wrist lanyard, which I find handy for hanging the ripper from a thread stand. The ripping end itself is "just right". Sharp enough, long enough, and not too wide (I hate seam rippers with wide open blade ends).Clearly handmade, as I bought two and the handles differ slightly.
