This thing is huge. It's design makes it impossible to mount in tight places. There is no provision for a rain tight hub for bringing the wiring in from the top. This means that you're either running your wires up from the bottom. Down the inside of the wall. Or down along the side and into a loop box.The internal turn lock socket is positioned in such a way that it's difficult to make the connection and turn the plug.I gave it three stars because this would work quite well if mounted on a pole like those in an RV park. For home installation, I think I would steer clear of this one.

This is a very nice NEMA 14-30 box.It is well made and goes above and beyond with protecting the electrical connection form the elements.And I *REALLY* like that it is ETL certified!
