This product is holding up very well despite the fact they are left out over the winter months. The birds pull out strains of it to build their nests in the spring so I cover them until their nests are complete with natures materials! LOL

Appearance and first impressions:Coconut liners were heavily compressed and shrink wrapped - good for keeping out moisture, but tougher to open. I soaked the liners together for about 10 minutes, then indivually before attempting to unwrap them. Still had trouble pulling them apart without tearing the fibers and creating a hole. Once each was apart and molded into my planters was that the liners were on the thin side, although they fit well into the planter basket. (See accompanying photos) Withholding final judgment on whether they were a good value for money spent until i see how well they hold moisture for the soil & plants.

Pleased with quality. These fit perfectly in my hanging baskets on my fence by the pool.

I did not realize that the liners would arrive in a state totally condensed and hard. In order to use them, you must soak them; 2 hours was not enough so I left the liner I planned to use soak overnight. Due to the size, it was hard to find a contain large enough to soak the liner in. The coir turns the water orange but the water does not seem to discolor other things, fortunately. And, the requirement to soak the liners, which is something I have not encountered before, is not in the product description. Also, I found the quality to be inferior to previous coir liners I have purchased. When you can buy liners that are sturdier and do not require soaking to reconstitute the coir to a workable state, there's no reason to buy these. I will not be buying them again.

I was hesitant to order these after some of the reviews but glad I went ahead and did! We priced these for $12 each at Lowe’s and frankly, I don’t see these as any less of quality. I did soak them in a five gallon bucket for about an hour while they were still folded then removed them from the water and opened them up without any issues. They held up while planting and help with moisture. I would definitely recommend.

The liners arrived in good time. They seemed to have been pressure packed and were difficult to spread out, and when I did, the lining was thin in spots. I do not feel that I can give the product a thumbs up.

These are very thin and really do not fit well.
