This thing's a lifesaver. Love having it in the shop. I looked at several different ones. Some were quite expensive but this one was pretty reasonably priced, so I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and saw that it was very well made. Nice design with thick anodized aluminum base plate and nicely spaced threaded studs and holes. Use it all the time.

All in one SAE/metric tread checker. This is a quality (like how do they make it this $cheap?) board, made of aluminum, tapped for threads (female) and studs (male). NOT some plastic board with nuts glued into holes. I have owned over 100 cars and have buckets of removed to use bolts and nuts from projects. This makes going to find what I need easy. I wish I had something like this 40 years ago. Live on a farm and too far from the hardware store (it is over an hour away from me), get this board and find that matching nut in your mix. Goes up to 1/2" and 14M. Has fine and course threads and measurement for length.

Nice tool to have on hand to help you know the size of bolts and nuts. Drill gauge in the center is nice also.

I bought this for my husband as a stocking stuffer and he was impressed with it! He has absolutely every tool known to the universe, but he didn’t have one of these! He said it’s been coming in super handy, so this was a major score! I was surprised at how well it’s made. It’s heavy and extremely durable, which is what is needed in any shop environment.
