I purchased these to decorate with and were great for that purpose. They hung for 1 month indoors and by the ent of the month, about 1/4 of them had torn.

The package arrived looking like it had been used as a football. I later noticed that it was previous return so I'm not the only one who didn't like them. Based on other reviews I opened all 30 umbrellas. One had already separated from the spoke but the others were functional. The covering is so thin (like the thickness of a ziplock bag) that I don't think it would've held up in any wind. I wanted them for a wedding and would've been embarrassed to give out something so cheap looking so returned them.
