I wanted to use my Aerogarden to plant lettuce seedlings rather than growing from seed. These sponges worked great for this purpose. I cut each one in half lengthwise and used 2 for each seedling. They fit perfectly into the holes in my Aerogarden. The lettuce is still going strong several months later!

I use the inBloom hydroponics and decided to go with a cheaper pack of pods. At first they seemed a bit small/short but I’ve had successful plants grow in broken pods before. These will actually expand as they soak up water, so they ended up being the perfect fit. I also appreciated the set of tweezers that was supplied. They’re much better than the ones I had! I’ve successfully sprouted blackberry seeds in these.

I bought a pack of 50, and have used 9 so far. They seem to be working the same as the originals.

I have bought a number of different vendors pods over the years. Many of them say that they won't grow fungus over the seeds or mold. Most failed miserably. This worked. Seeds germinating and coming up beautifully. No signs of fungus or mold. Very pleased. Recommend. Do soak for 30 minutes before using.

I bought these to save some money for buying them directly from aerogarden! Love them so far and offer the right amount of absorption as well!

These sponges fit perfectly with the Aerogarden that I have. They were very easy to use and appeared to be of the similar quality of the original set that came with the Aerogarden. I have only tried on so far and did not have good luck as far as growth is concerned. However, the seeds may be to blame. We tried this in my classroom to compare with the same type of seeds in soil. We only had 50% success with those which leads me to question other factors.

Got this to use with my hydroponic indoor garden and they have been great! I use the starter size pods to start my plants indoors before transplanting outdoors and have had lots of success with these. About to irder another pack!

Got them for my seed starting aerogarden tray. Half the seeds don't want to germinate and the ones that are are pretty much dying after a couple of days because their roots cannot implant in the hard material. Don't waste your money.
