Ittook about four weeks to start growing, but once it did, it grew quickly! It uses tons of water and food.

They said they would last for 3-6 months. Mine were planted in December of 2021. I placed them in 2, perhaps three slots since I had basil, thyme and chives still growing. I was looking for some color for winter. Admittedly only one pod germinated of the 2 - 3, but the one that did, took over. I have been cutting it back ( just did before the picture), but it is a crazy grower. I think I can sneak in some herbs on the other side. The chives have been hanging in there for almost 18 months with regular harvests in the middle, but nothing seems to kill the flowers. They are always in bloom.

I have been using my hydroponic garden for over a year. I have not had any problems with anything that I have planted in it. I bought these petunias and they are terrible. Seeds never germinated and plants never grew. Don’t waste your money. So so disappointed.

I've been purchasing Aero Garden products for years. These flowers are great quality and never disappoint. I was, however, confused as no covers were included for the pods to germinate.

The petunias that I have grown in the past are very hardy and beautiful. Start them inside and move out in the late spring.

It's been 3 weeks possibly more and only 3 pods have started to grow. One of the 3 that started looks like it will not be growing past the little green flaps. Disappointed as they looked so pretty in the picture.

Petunias are fast growers and have rewarding big blooms with great colors. These pods sprouted within a week and in 6 weeks I had blooms. They also transplant really well: I cut off the frame of the pod and left some of it in the root clump (just removed the collar, mostly) and planted in Miracle Gro potting mixture with some gravel at the bottom for good drainage (they don't like wet feet.) You do have to harden them off to take them outside (they need to get used to the breeze and change in temperatures!)Either indoor or outdoor, the petunias are among the easiest plants to grow in the Aerogarden and particularly good for children who love to see flowers and the changes in plant growth from sprout to leaf to flower bud.

Everything I've purchased from Aero Garden has been wonderful. In fact, I don't know how growth is guaranteed, everything I've purchased has grown successfully.I'm writing this review because I see a lot of negative reviews and I will tell you exactly what your malfunction is- you're using city water. Everywhere is different of course, however, have you smelled your city water lately? In one instance, I smelled chlorine, I tested the water and sure enough, the strip turned violently purple... not light purple, not possibly purple, but PURPLE. In the aero garden instructions, it says don't feed your plants crap tap water; I won't even feed my dogs tap water anymore, why? Because I love my dogs and I refuse to poison them.An easy way to grow beautiful plants, because let's face it, you're lazy and don't wanna fill up gallon jugs at the store for 30ć is to grab a trash can or any container similar, put a fresh garbage bag in it, and when it rains stick the can out there and get fresh water. Problem solved. Your error won't result in lousy reviews which reflect Aero Garden's excellent product, integrity and du diligence.Lastly, Aero Garden has customer care listed everywhere, including on the app which you sync your phone to so your garden reminds you to water, nutrients, etc. I've never tried customer myself because, welp, I follow instructions. For those of you growing crap and posting negative reviews. YOU are ruining it for other people who are interested in growing a garden in their home, but won't because YOU HAVE CAUSED DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY. Try the customer care solution. If you don't follow instructions or suffer from laziness, this is Amazon- pack that thing up and return it. DON'T RUIN IT FOR OTHER PEOPLE WITH YOUR NEGATIVE REVIEWS- I've read them and saw your pictures, most of you are using tap water in an area where your water is garbage. Well water is a no no also!!

Absolutely love this pod kit— I just wish they told you what colours to expect on each pod. Blooms literally cannot grow any higher!

The sponges weren't in the baskets, so they were basically all unlabelled. Luckily I know what each seed looks like. But! Inside were not petunia seeds but the herb kit!!Update: the replacement was indeed the petunia pods, and despite the pods being all apart, the germination was 100% after I put them back together. Very surprising.

With great anticipation and excitement I ordered the 9 pod set of cascading petunias. One of the pod has a tomato plant (see photo) ( and I already have a tomato plant flourishing in another Aerogarden) but is labelled Cascading Petunia. One of the pods has never germinated. I do have extra pods as my Aerogarden holds 6. However, I believe I should receive some of compensation from Aerogarden. Other than these problems I love my three Aerogardens.
Does not mix well and powder stays in the bottom
