How to Select the Appropriate Size of Concrete Screws?

1. [Fixture Thickness] The determination of the necessary fixture thickness for anchoring is required.

2. [Screw Embedment] The recommended embedment depth is 2” to 2-1/4". Utilize this range for selecting the appropriate screw (Remember to account for the fixture's thickness).

3. [Hole Size] The diameter of the hole is crucial for achieving optimal performance and pullout strength. When using 3/16" screws, it is recommended to utilize a 5/32" drill bit, while for 1/4" screws, a 3/16" drill bit should be used. Moreover, it is essential to ensure that the depth of the hole exceeds the embedment of the screw by at least 1/2", taking into account any material displacement.

Step 2: Secure with Screws

Refrain from applying excessive torque while driving the screws into the holes perpendicularly, as it may result in separation of the screw head or thread stripping in the base materials.

Good product! I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars because this product didn't come with the 1/4" drill bit like many other products come with. Also the plastic box was broken and needs to be taped so the non-used screws don't fall out. But the screws worked like there suppose to for the job I had for them.

Made in China, these crews aren't exactly the right size to use with American tools. However, we got them to do the job necessary by drilling the holes a bit larger than the screw size and using epoxy to anchor them.
