The material is a very sturdy canvas fabric. Not too thick but not too thin that you would worry about tearing or not protecting your brushes. The fold-over top half can be left unfolded for longer brushes. The brush slots are big enough for 2-3 brushes each depending on thickness. Some people don’t like that, but I don’t mind. There’s space for palette knives, scrapers, and even a sponge depending on how much you have. It ties really well and I would definitely recommend and order again. 10/10 for pricing, quality, and use!

I kept loosing my art supplies on the go.. so when I came across this holder I bought ASAP. The sturdiness of this is great, thick canvas material which is a plus since you want it to last. It’s great for traveling for sure and for the price you can’t go wrong. I added a few of my drawing pens and pencils since that’s what I mainly take with me. I have plenty of paint brushes so I may have to buy another one if I wish to store all my supplies in a holder like this but this does have 30 pockets which I like since I don’t plan of taking my paint brushes on the go. I was able to fit two pencils/pens in one pocket- gives you an idea of the pocket size- I would recommend this for sure.

This paint brush holder is probably one of the best things I've purchased since I became a painter! It was the biggest roll up holder I could find that held the most. I was able to fit all my painting essentials and then some. It has 30 slots, but some of my paint brushes are super thin so I could fit 59 brushes, knives and sponges in mine. I have some thicker paint brushes too and those fit snug in the small slots. The canvas is thick and sturdy which I love, and the pattern on the back is beautiful! The string that ties it together is thick and definitely long enough to tie even though I packed it full. I would recommend this to all!
