These do measure a bit less than an inch, roughly 7/8 inches in many case, which is what the product page currently indicates at 0.8 inches.I like the variety of colors, and that they are soft and gentle on the hair. We use these primarily with our daughter who is still growing her hair out at 2 years old.They are very cheap, and only last a few times before the elastic breaks down. The white bits of elastic will stick out of the hair tie before long.At a little bit over $0.02 each, these are perfect as disposable hair ties for my kids.Made in China.

Great pack of bands for a reasonable price. I appreciate the variety of color options with a large selection of basic black bands. This pack will last me quite a while (before I manage to lose to them all inexplicably) .

Good quality and stretch to the bands. They are a lot softer than I anticipated and don’t seem to tangle in hair as much as other brands due to the soft material they slide right out when pulled on. For the quality and quantity in this pack, I’d purchase again.

These are just the ties I was looking for, for my 1 year old daughter. Various colors, small and compact, and they don't pull at the hair. They're a bit stretchy but also firm enough so that it doesn't constantly fall out of her hair.
