Really nice looking hinge. Much easier to install than standard book-style hinges. If the design works for your gate, they are highly recommended. Well made, solid. Easy to adjust as the gate sags over time.

Nice, sturdy hinges. Will be using these for dual metal gates and they should work just fine. However, am disappointed in the lack of precision of the male insert and female receiver as they are not built to tight specifications. They have what results as a 1/2" of up, down, side-to-side slop (play) at the end of the bolt. Since these are going to go through the actual 3 inch metal gale post, the accommodating holes drilled in the posts will need to be precise to eliminate the play and prevent distortion of the softer aluminum due to the play.

Giving a 1 because it's not all there and this is a lot of trouble to go to the hardware store to match this stuff up. As you can see in the pics I got six hinges, enough J blots but no bolts for the hinges themselves. The box it came in was an amazon box but the box the product was in was all messed up. If you can't get everything to me then just don't sell it. I bought two of these and had missing parts from both orders, If I could leave a zero I would. So value for money is nothing honey. Adjustability would be a negative since I can't mount them. They seem as if they would be strong enough and easy to use.

See the pic for what we used these for. We needed the hinges to attach a custom made gate to the brick post on one side of our porch. It was a bonus that the two pieces of the hinge separate so that installation can easily occur by placing the gate on top of the secured posts. We anticipate it'll make it just as easy to remove the gate in winter when our dog won't be allowed to track snow back into the house from her 'neighbourhood watch'ing.
