If you're familiar with mechanical pencils, you probably know how thin 0.5mm is. Stainless wire this size is very malleable. My digital calipers confirmed the wire diameter is as advertised. The container is very convenient for dispensing and continuing to store the unused wire.

This safety lock wire is strong, flexible and well suited for its primary purpose of insuring that bolts stay tightly fastened, even in high vibration environments. It also works well to fasten outdoor signs onto chain link fences and other similar applications exposed to weather, salt air or ultraviolet light that would deteriorate plastic fasteners. I like the screw-on lid on the dispenser which makes it easy to fish out the cut end if it should spring back into the spool. I found this product easy to work with.

It was surprisingly hard to find a place to get general purpose bare wire that's stainless to use for utility purposes. This came in a pretty nice plastic container that looks like it'll hold up. You get 1, 013 feet of wire which should last for a long time. This is good for those types of things that I used to save twist ties for but weren't quite strong enough. It's good for temporary fixes, strapping things together, quick repairs, et cetera. It's not an exciting product that you can go on and on about, but it's exactly what I needed and I'm going to pick up the other two sizes as well. I'm happy with it. I'll probably have enough wire for a lifetime.

I ordered this without paying attention to the size. I didn't realize they made safety wire this thin. It is too narrow for my use case (motorcycle racing) but I will find a way to use elsewhere. The can is really well designed, easy to use and open, and looks like you can refill it.

There isn't much to be said about this wire as it's a simple product. It does have a good dispenser and the wire seems as strong as any other of this type. You can use this for all kinds of projects or crafts. I got this to tie small fence wire to posts. It is versatile and always handy to have. For the amount of feet included, it is a great price compared to my local hardware store's offerings. Works well for my needs.

This is a great spool of safety wire. It is well made, strong, and is easy to use. The container makes it easy to get to. I haven't had any problems with it breaking too easy or rusting. It works just as it should.

At my age, this is likely going to be a lifetime supply of 0.020" safety wire that is used on small fasters. The wire comes in a nice plastic can (I like this style over the old cardboard and tin cans) and spools out easily.

The purchase of stainless steel hose clamps requires a nuisance trip to the hardware store and likely the cost of a few dollars. I make my own using safety wire. Easily done. I also used the wire to pre tension coil springs during the process of securing fabric on chairs.This soft stainless steel wire is excellent and I like using it.
