This is great wire! I'm using it for wire-forming parts of a larger stained-glass-and-enamelled-metal art piece. I had checked the Malin web site, and yes, this *is* spring-tempered (I think the alternate designation is H08), so it's *much* more resilient than the galvanized wire I've gotten in the past, and will retain its nice, smooth surface (galvanized gets grungy-looking, in my opinion). It heat-colors beautifully and exactly as expected for smoothly-finished 302/304 Stainless Steel. And, of course, it's strong, almost deceptively so for the diameter (0.020"), so that, plus being spring-tempered, means once it's shaped, it *holds* that shape, even if a formed piece is accidentally bumped. Since I'll be suspending stained glass and whatnot within a series of steel rings, it's perfect - strong enough for the items I'll me making and using, but thin enough to not be intrusive or obvious. ☺As silly as this might sound, I also like the canister a lot - the wire has been coming out easily, so it's so much better than dealing with a spool. It's lightweight but still pretty strong, meaning that the canister won't collapse if dropped, in turn meaning that the wire will remain *under control* - again, much easier than dealing with a spool, or "carded" wire. The container also keeps the wire clean - that might not matter for some uses, but it matter for my use. The compact shape fits right into my supplies box. There is a molded "hook" so it can be hung from a belt, or on an upright edge if one is available in one's work area, or on a storage bar. I don't see a Recycle number on it, but it looks like the top can be removed, so it's re-usable.

the product is fine but theirs no way to communicate with the seller or amazon about problems like the fact that 2 rolls were sent each at different times & i could't find a way to stop the 2ed shipment

I needed a thin but strong wire to hang classic car parts for painting & this has worked extremely well. Usually I make a circle & twist the two ends together, it works for my hanging areas to paint & to dry parts from too.

The safety wire works great and I’ve used it on my weapons systems and in high vibration environments and it works just fine
