Your cart is empty.Stainless Steel 316L is an austenitic chromium nickel stainless steel containing molybdenum. This addition increases general corrosion resistance, improves resistance to pitting from chloride ion solutions, and provides increased strength at elevated temperatures. Properties are similar to those of Type 304/304L except that this alloy is somewhat stronger at elevated temperatures. Corrosion resistance is improved, particularly against sulfuric, hydrochloric, acetic, formic and tartaric acids; acid sulfates and alkaline chlorides. Type 316L is an extra-low carbon version of Type 316 that minimizes harmful carbide precipitation during welding. Received super fast. But something sticky spilled all over outside of the plastic wrapping, inside the shipping bag.

I don't know anything about wire gauges and can't criticize this wire for being too thin. I just didn't realize how thin 40 gauge is!. Like, the size of a human hair. It didn't work for my purpose, but be sure to look up how big different gauges are before buying. Otherwise, it seems good. Nicely packaged so it won't tangle.
