I bought this wire because my control cable (like used on throttle control for lawn mowers or manual choke in old trucks) on my motorcycle lift broke. It is hard to find a control cable in the length I needed, 10 feet. It was only the inner that broke, so this worked perfectly at a fraction of the cost of a complete inner+outer cable. Just remember to order "full hard" so it will be super stiff and can be used in push pull applications.

Using this for jewelry making. A little stiff. Not the spring wire I was expecting that holds its coil.

This is very bendable. If you shape it into a spring it will just bend and not spring at all.You probably need to harden this in order to use it

The 3mm is very stiff and springy. Very strong stuff. Can't cut with normal pliers or snippers...I had to use bolt cutter. Very stiff, comes in coil, you can straiten with difficulty, but hard to make tight wrap without heating it red hot then twisting. I like it.
