I'm happy with this product. I'm using it in an outdoor application - not jewelry. So far no signs of rust. It wasn't clear how much was on a roll when I purchased. It turns out it comes with 370 ft of wire which is way more than I needed. This will last a very long time.

I make wire wrapped jewelry. The listing says it can be used for jewelry. I guess it *could* be used for strengthening or something, but the wire is so dull I can’t use it for anything front facing unless I do a weave with multiple wires . See pic-this wire is on the bottom with the typical stainless wire I usually get on the top. It’s decent wire, bends nicely as it is soft but strong, and I’ll still use it I guess, but I just wish it had a better finish and that the pics were better to be able to tell the difference

I'm glad I only use this gauge of wire for making custom hooks for suncatchers where being polished and shiny isn't quite as important, but definitely not what I expected. This is tough wire, so make sure you're using wire cutters with a true hardened cutting edge, like ChannelLock brand flush cutters.UPDATE 01/2025: Wow, they must have listened to customer concerns because I just ordered another roll of the 20 gauge and it was definitely polished and shiny-looking! I compared the two rolls and it was a remarkable difference. The rest applies - make sure to use hardened cutters! This wire is strong.

Strong wire that I wanted to use for earring hooks...unfortunately, it isn't as shiny as I had hoped. I will use it for other purposes, and it's a nice, very strong wire.

The description notes that this could be used for crafts or jewelry but this is simply not realistic. The wire is almost impossible to cut or break and even industrial wire snips couldn't do it.Ultimately, I needed to cut this with sheet metal snips - A bolt cutter might also be used. That shows that this is not made for doing simple crafts. It's now used in my garage to hang materials for painting on the paint rack - so it still has a use, but the description is misleading.
