I've been using these connectors for a long time. I use them on my NiCad RC batteries and NiMh. Work just fine.

I felt compelled to set the record straight on Anderson power poles because there's a lot of bad information in the reviews.let's start with the fact that these are excellent power poles..now on to a bit of history, even though these are called Anderson power poles and even though they loosely follow the original patent Anderson never manufactured this size of Anderson powerful.Anderson actually only manufactured the much larger power poles, in other words the product you're looking at here was never originally manufactured in the United States.a German company by the name of Sermos we're the ones who introduced these smaller Anderson power pole connectors which back in the '80s and '90s were called sermos connectors.These were manufactured in Germany, I should know I was one of the original US importers in the '80sSermos stopped making these and sold the manufacturing equipment to a Chinese company.. China was the only manufacturer of so-called Anderson power poles for quite some time.The company you know of today is Anderson bought the Chinese equipment and began manufacturing these smaller connectors here in the United States.So in reality China and Germany are the original manufacturers of this particular connector not Anderson.Anderson power poles only recently began manufacturing these smaller 45, 30 and 15 amp power poles again the original manufacturers were in Germany.With that said this is a quality version. How can it not be they're all pretty much manufactured on the same equipment.
