bought this to use on my chimney for woodstove use, also used for pellet stove clean out. This was awesome! it worked so well. Even using it on full force. I was worried it would tangle up but it didn't. defiantly got a better clean using this! Pieces were easy enough to put on and take off also!

The chimney sweep was good , but the brush to clean the dryer vent is not very long. And you cannot attach it to the rods . Little disappointed in that

Brush is too small to actually clean a 6" flue.

We have cathedral ceilings and a wood stove with a chimney so we needed to find a cleaner that could reach. I actually didnt even use all of the segments for this when I cleaned it out, if worked great and was easy to maneuver inside of the chimney. The brush is pretty sturdy as well and easy to put on and take off.

I guess this brush is ok if you have a small wood burning stove, or maybe want to clean out a dryer vent, but overall, this brush is far to small for a fireplace in a home. If you have an old style wood burning fireplace in your home, this brush isn't going to do the job. Its like throwing a hot dog down a hallway. You might hit a side, but it's just not going to get the job done.

I bought this item to clean my dryer ducts. I do have a chimney, but I hadn't considered this item for that use, even though that is its primary use. I used this to clean out my dryer exhaust and it is highly effective. I was shocked at how much I got out of that exhuast. That said, I do believe this will be an excellent chimney cleaner as well. There are multiple brushes, which allow this item to be multifunctional. I can see me using it for my dryer, my chimney, perhaps to clear a drain. It really does do it all. This is good value for money.

This product has a good theory but it doesn't work on a large chimney. The bristles are not strong enough to clean the creosote off efficiently. Our wood stove wasn't that dirty with build up this early in the season.We would have returned it but decided we might use it for other pipes other than wood stove.
