"Glycerine filled"?Gauge seemed ok upon arrival.but it sat on shelf for about a month before i got around to installing it....When I opened the box to check the fitting size after about 30 days i found that it had it developed a large air bubble and needle doesnt return to zero.Unfortunately the return window had expired 3 days earlier...I hope that the supplier sees this review and offers a replacement...Otherwise I will try to drain the fluid and use it without the liquid. ??Update.I am going to just scrap this unit and buy a dry one...

Used to monitor vacuum in vehicle. If used under the hood, be advised that engine heat will cause the reading to be slightly off when hot. Not an issue in my application and is normal with sealed gauges that are used where large temperature swings occur.

I needed this to replace the pressure gauge on my pool filter/pump, but before that, I gave it a whirl on stuff like car tires and it accurately read the pressure just as well.I'll change the rating depending how long it lasts; I do know that this is something you do replace frequently.

I previously purchased a GOATACURA vacuum gauge. As a 3-2-3 gauge it's accurate enough for my needs. And the quality seems to be just fine.Now I need a pressure gauge, so I didn't hesitate to purchase one from them.

Goatacura is a new brand for me, but they sure make nice gauges.This Front mount SS 160 PSI gauge has a hand written accuracy test in the box, and is glycerine filled.I checked the accuracy, it's dead on.These are the perfect size for the gauge on a regulator.After seeing this, I immediately ordered another 😊

I ordered this gauge to replace a pool pump gauge thar had broken.This quality gauge does a great job of measuring pressure. I love that it is filled with glycerin to keep the gauge well lubricated and to keep dirt out. It also has a removable plug should you need to reset the ambient pressure back to zero.The thread is actually ¼ npt, as advertised.Please note the dial is aligned in a horizontal format, so depending on the gauge you are replacing, this configuration may or may not work for your particular application.

This is regarding the GOATACURA -30inHg/kpa-0 Glycerin Filled Vacuum Pressure Gauge, 2" Dial Size, 304 Stainless Steel Case, 1/4" NPT Center Back Mount, with High Accuracy.I know.. I could be using it to check engine performance on my truck.. but it pairs too well with my Carivia Vacuum Pump model RS-1.5 1/3HP 4CFM!I can watch it pull down to nearly a hard vacuum. This is really the only way to get the best results when vacuum bagging a fiberglass layup.The oil hides the pulse from the vacuum well, so I can get a better idea of how strong the vacuum is.The threads are good, but I still suggest locktite at these pressures.The metal housing is thick and tough. The glass window seems reasonably durable as well.This is a really good purchase at this price point.
