Smooth and rounded to prevent wear on gear. Easy to clip and has texture on the rock side to prevent turning. You can feel the quality of the steel. Highest quality ankors I have worked with. Used them to set rock climbing route. Just a little pricey compared to others but also better quality.

These bolt hangers appear to be nearly the same quality as the name brands available. One thing that is slightly concerning is that there does not appear to be any indication on the hangers themselves that they are CE certified. They do have a higher rating than some of the other available anchors at 30kN. I do not intend to use them for any dynamic loads as I intend to install them in my garage more for storing gear and potentially a rappelling station from my mezzanine down to the first floor for teaching purposes. I do not see a reason to not install them in a dyamic load situation however as they appear to be very high quality (no sharp edges, made from stainless steel (prevent rust)). I am also very impressed with the 3 little bumps on the backside which will secure the anchor preventing it from spinning once mounted in place. This is a great feature as I have seen anchors move when out climbing and it is quite unnerving.Overall, I have been very happy with the quality of these anchors. I have not seen any indication of the CE certification on the anchors however it does state it in the description. Overall, they appear to be a high quality anchor rated to 30kN and are reasonably priced for stainless anchors.
