I liked these metal signs. It took a bit of time to thread the metal posts through the tiny holes to assemble them, but hey, you're a gardener, so it's not a big deal, right? I sprayed mine with a sun-resistant spray before I wrote on them with my permanent marker. And there's a generous amount of space on each sign for the name and date of your plant. The only thing I didn't think of when ordering was the stark whiteness of the color that I selected (white). I didn't realize that white really stands out as very unnatural against the muted browns, yellows, greens, etc., of my perennial bed. If that doesn't bother you, then these are really nice, and made of really sturdy metal. Not flimsy and bendable like others I've tried. I can't speak to how long they will last, but they seem very durable now.

Those are great and easy to read if you print your pTouch labels on either white on black or white on clear tape (as shown in the photo.

I put in a pollinator garden and wanted to have nice labels for my plants. Something that would look better than a plastic plant marker and would last a long time. I used my Cricut machine to make the labels and transferred them onto these garden stakes. They are perfect! Then I decided they looked so nice I wanted to make some for my vegetable garden so I ordered another box!!!

After going through so many different types of labels and having them fail due to melting, breaking, or fading, I wanted to find something that would be sturdy, look professional, easy to use and last. I love the white with the oil based black marker. Naming of plants is so easy to read, looks professional, and thus far in the Texas weather has not faded, scratched, bent or become unusable. I have used these in my home gardens and two other professional gardens that I tend. With that in mind, I can absolutely recommend this item.

I put these in the garden late in spring of 2022. I just removed them at the end of Oct 2022. The parts in the grounds are starting to rust, not horribly, but I don't know how they'll be after another season. But the parts not in contact with the soil still look great!I stamped them with names of my veggies & the stamping worked well. You are able to slide the flat part off of the legs to stamp them.

I really like the metal stakes. The plate is big enough to write information about the plant. I use labels & they fit good. The metal is sturdy & not flimsy so they should last for several years. Good quality. Very pleased. I have have to see how they last through the seasons with the labels. Many labels fade with the weather. It came with a marker but I didn’t use it. Easy to stick in the ground.

I considered a number of different markers before purchasing these. And, it was the right decision. I've had these in the ground for just over a year and the markers look great - no rust or deterioration. Most were buried under 6-8 inches of snow throughout the Winter. However, I found that the ones that I hand lettered (using a black permanent ink pen) didn't do well - if they were exposed to sunlight they faded to the point of not being readable. However, on those makers on which I used a Brother Label Maker (P Touch) the labels survived the year and still look good. I now only use the label maker to write names. When the shade garden I'm creating is finished I plan to use the black version of this marker to label plants. I'm hoping that the white oil-based paint pen will last. Since the garden doesn't get a lot of sun I think they will also work well.
