These are a little flimsy, but do the trick. I am comfortable using these in the soil and not having any animals eat them. I can write on them easily with a sharpy . They will crack because they are not very thick. I don't think they will last more than one season without falling to pieces. Great price and they do the job.

Great labels for plants. Comes with a permanent marker to write on the labels. Great value for the price! The size is good, you can see the labels well. Good quality plastic. Great to keep track of what you’ve planted! Very functional!

Overall, these are decent plant tags. They're lightly textured on both sides and writing on them with the included marker is easy. This type of marker will fade under UV light over time, so make sure that you've got the written side turned away from the sunlight or protected in some other way if you want to be able to still read your labels in September. It looks to be the full 200, though I wasn't about to count them.My only issues with them are with regard to their size and their color. I ordered a few different packs last year, as I went through them, and these are noticeably narrower than the ones I previously owned. Those were .8" wide. These are .6" wide. That is enough to make the difference between being able to put two lines of text on them and only one. As I often have multiple varieties of each vegetable going at once, losing room for that second line of text makes a big difference. These are like the popsicle sticks my daughter uses for her garden in terms of space to write. The other difference I noticed was in color. These are advertised as white, but the ones I received are noticeably grey, nowhere near the same white color as every other brand I've ever bought. I don't think it will matter all that much, they're still pale enough to read the labels I've written, but if you're a person who is bothered by little things like that (which I'll be honest, I definitely can be that person), maybe go with a different brand. One other thing to note, these come packaged in a cardboard box, wrapped in bundles of 100, and did arrive warped. In comparison, I very much preferred the ones I ordered last year that came in a reusable plastic case that kept them neatly organized and easy to store protected in my gardening bag with their pen until I needed them. It doesn't matter so much to me now, as I can just refill the old case with these, but if I was buying something for the first time, I'd choose to go with those instead.

Agree with other reviews that the tags are slightly more narrow than most standard garden tags and they appear more grey than white. Other than that, the price is right and the texturing seems nice for writing. We prefer pencil instead of marker because it usually lasts longer.

Perfect I used to label type, moisture, lighting for indoor plants. Sure it will be great out in the garden when the time comes.
