These are nice wooden stakes to label my plants. The length is good allowing enough to stick in the soil and still have lots of surface to write in both sides. I used a permanent marker and did not try the pen included.

Came fast, good quality. I would say it's a nice compromise between all wood and plastic. These are a composite material of wood and some sort of resin (?) that will hold up better than wood but it will still decay into compost.

I'm buying more. I searched high and low for plant tags that weren't plastic, but big enough. These are great! The marker it comes with writes very nice and as you can see in the picture, it is nice to have clearly labeled plants. I will add that the part that is in the soil does start to breakdown and get soft after a couple months, but that is the point of using a natural material as opposed to more plastic in our environment. Great price too.

When I bought my first batch, I thought they were great and ordered 4 more . I should have waited. My first batch did not hold up. They are not wood but a laminate wood lookalike. After a couple of months they started to peel back and the pen ink faded . I am now using popsicle sticks for the garden. I wrote to company and did not hear back.

Perfect size to place in my garden to identify the seeds I have planted for spring harvest. I always forget where I put what so these wonderful plant sticks remind me not to plant more! I love these. Thank you for the prompt delivery, the sweet thank you note and of course THE PEN!!!

The marker faded away because of the sun, but the stakes worked. I had better luck using a #6 pencil to write plant name than I did using the marker.

I have ordered plant labels in the past, mostly plastic. This wooden one comes in a neat package along with a marker. Really like this one. Hope the writing stays as it is in the sun
