Sometimes you don't have the luxury of prepping a door frame for access control before the carpenters hang it. In that case, you may need to make a small hole, or two, to fish your wires through the door frame. These little plastic plugs are very similar to the door contact/position switch and fit snugly in a hole properly sized with a step bit.

We got a new outboard motor and this resulted in the removal of several gauges leaving gaping holes in the dash. A friend suggested these fillers. I've filled one hole to see how it works and good news. However our holes are probalby 2 1/8 diameter so the plugs are very loose. So I used marine silicone caulk to glue in place. They are solid now but wouldn't be too hard to remove if needed. Price is right and shipping was super fast. I may give the rest to our boat shop as there are way more than I am likely to use.

I had to raise one of the latches on my white vinyl fence gate to meet the code, and it left ugly holes where the screws used to be. I ordered these to plug the holes in, and it worked. The plugs are not very tight in a 1/4" hole, but they aren't falling out. After trying the plug in a 1/4" hole, I drilled the others to 7/32". The plugs popped in and are nice and tight. Almost invisible.

We took the plastic dividers out of our Anderson windows and needed something that would fill the little hole that was left behind and these are absolutely perfect. 300 little holes later and we're good to go.

They say they are for one inch holes but they seem to be slightly less. They definitely don't fit very snug.

Plugged a 3/4 hole on the back of a closet door. It stays in place. That’s what i needed.
